Chur, the room was clean as, and the shower was mint! But the parking was a bit tight. Breakfast, though, was a real winner—so many options!

The breakfast was top-notch—freshly cooked and oh-so-delicious, making mornings a real treat! I had a lovely chinwag with Rod in the lounge, who also pointed us toward nearby gems like The Smugglers and Snacking Kraken. The cozy Twin Room had charming decor that added to the homely vibe.
Sure, the steep hill from town might get your legs burning, but it rewards you with stunning views – worth every step!

Stunning sea and countryside views, unique historical significance, pet-friendly accommodations
The hilly location could tire some, limited TV signal isn't ideal for down time, poor cold water pressure needed attention, rooms are smaller than expected, and check-out times felt too rigid!!!

Exceptional Stay with a Breathtaking View
I had a wonderful 2-night stay in a King Room with Sea View, where I was greeted warmly by Rod, the owner. The room was spacious, incredibly clean, and the large bay window provided stunning views of the sea, which I enjoyed from the comfort of my bed. Breakfast was a highlight—everything was freshly prepared, including perfectly poached eggs, and the local flavor was evident in every bite. The only minor thing I would have preferred is having a bit more food variety for breakfast. otherwise, it was a delightful experience.

The room was super cozy and had thoughtful touches like quality tea and sweet treats waiting for us. We loved relaxing on the sun terrace and appreciated the leisure room for some downtime. Just a heads-up, the water pressure was a bit low, but it didn’t really bother us. 😊

Just a proper fit for a trip in Ilfracombe with value for money. The little bowl of sweets in the room was a nice surprise. Make sure to check the breakfast times to avoid missing out.
